Abstract

Digitalization in education has become a strategic necessity to address challenges in managing educational systems, particularly in student assessment. Technology-based assessments, such as Computer-Based Tests (CBT), have reduced dependency on manual paper-based methods but still face high operational costs, complex local infrastructure requirements, and significant fraud risks. This study aims to develop a mobile application-based assessment system integrated with Google Forms, Google Spreadsheets, and an Android application featuring anti-fraud mechanisms. Using the Research and Development (R&D) approach, the study was conducted through five stages: needs analysis, system design, prototype development, testing, and implementation. The findings indicate that this system can reduce examination costs by up to 50%, increase time efficiency by 70%, and maintain academic integrity through innovative anti-fraud features. Additionally, the system is designed to be user-friendly and adaptable, catering to the needs of educational institutions in diverse regions. This system offers solutions for budget efficiency and academic integrity and has the potential to be widely adopted by other educational institutions.
